This tour takes you to Nine Mile the birth and resting place of our late great Reggae Superstar Bob Marley. When one thinks of Jamaica (mon), you can’t help but think of the King of Reggae, Bob Marley. Journey to the village of Nine Mile, where Bob lived, loved, and played. Learn about the Rastafarian religion he practiced and made famous as well as see his final resting place. A moving tribute to a great musician!

Dunns River Falls is one of the Jamaican national treasures, It’s a 600ft climb that’s located a quarter of a mile from the cruise ship pier in Ocho Rios.
the waterfalls are terraced like giant natural stairs though some incorporate man-made improvements. Several small lagoons are interspersed among the vertical sections of the falls. The falls empty into the Caribbean Sea at the western end of an attractive white-sand beach Dunn’s River Falls are fed by spring water, which is rich with calcium carbonate and is depositing travertine. Such waterfalls are described by geologists as “a living phenomenon” because they are continuously rebuilt by the sediments in spring water. Dunn’s River Falls is one of the very few travertine waterfalls in the world that empties directly into the sea

       This was our first trip to a rum distillery and boy was it wonderful.
This was our first trip to a rum distillery and boy was it wonderful. The staff start you off with a rum punch in a very nicely decorated reception area, and then take you on a most interesting tour of their grounds and facility. The immersive experience gives visitors the chance to see how the cane is process, tastings at each step of production, right down to a mini-class on how to taste and enjoy rum! We highly recommend this place, so much so that when we got back to the U.S. we shopped BevMo for a bottle and keep on handy for the occasional cocktail. We learned about this place from Jimmy Boys Tours of Negril. We put that we went in February 2022 because Tripadvisor wouldn't let us put January. Interesting that they want to encourage people to lie.

The location at the airport was Easy to find and we received friendly service from all of the staff.  The driver was knowledgeable about the area and drove with care

     Scalo a Ocho Rios, Giamaica.
Uscendo dalla nave, vicino al porto, sulla destra, c'è un simpatico piccolo villaggio riservato ai turisti, con negozietti, bar, ristoranti; si può anche accedere alla spiaggia pagando 10 dollari a persona ( 15 dollari se si affitta anche il lettino ); comodo per chi non si volesse allontanare dalla nave. I prezzi dei souvenir in generale non sono bassi. Interessante la visita alle cascate di Dun River (non lontane dal porto ); Le cascate sono un po' impegnative, non adatte a tutti; ma volendo si possono visitare rimanendo a lato, fuori dall'acqua, su delle pedane in legno. A valle c'è una spiaggia non attrezzata, ma ci sono cabine-spogliatoio per chi volesse fare un bagno. Wi-fi disponibile. Le persone in generale si dimostrano accoglienti; spesso vi offrono fumo alla marijuana, lì è tollerata, basta rifiutare con gentilezza e non insisteranno.

     $270 for a taxi ride
False advertisement! The description says you’ll enjoy a Jamaican meal, free water and entrance into the exhibit. It’s literally just a ride to the 9 mile.  Suzette was very nice and we had great conversation there and back. She was kind enough to buy us water and a beef patty once we found out there wasn’t lunch included. The drive is 1.5hrs one way. The tour itself was very short like 15-20 minutes, but the tour guide was funny. All in all not worth the $270 I spent for my hubby and I. It was a waste of our one day in Jamaica. Lesson learned… always read the reviews before you book, could’ve saved us time and money

     Best Time Ever
I visited Jamaica for my 30th birthday, and loved every moment of it! The staff was very friendly and helped me along my way. Orlando is/was awesome! He made sure to assist whenever we needed the help. Definitely will book this is excursion again! The tour guide at 9 mile and Bob Marley was fun and entertaining as well!

Went for work in February 2020. Retreat. The room was pleasant restuarants. Meeting and convention facilities were fair. They don't seem to have much experience in this area as they are not flexible. They did not provide us with pens and note pads. Coffee breaks was not creative.

We had a great time sightseeing in a more private and small group setting. They took us to the city center and around the community to see the local environment in and around Ocho Rios and St. Marie's parish. This is a great family owned and operated business and they do a great job.

     Definitely worth doing
This is a really varied day. I think Dunns river is something you have to do whilst in Jamaica - they describe is as being like the pyramids for Egypt. It is quite a thing to say we have climbed it and I’m glad we did but I don’t think it was a pretty as YS falls so I’d recommend going there too. Because you are concentrating on climbing, and do this in a group holding hands, I felt that there was limited opportunity to stop and take in the beauty of the surroundings. 9 miles is another one that I’m pleased we did but it didn’t feel that authentic other than the last bit when you go into the grave. There are lots of picture opportunities and gift shops. There also feels that there is an expectation to smoke, drink or eat the weed available for sale there - although we didn’t. The tour guides and very knowledgeable. If you are a Bob Marley fan I think you’d really enjoy it as there is lots to look at and learn. We went to a lunch stop on this tour which was nice and felt quite authentic. Note that to get to these excursions you are on the mountain roads for a long period of time and they do not drive carefully out there. Maybe not suitable for those who get travel sick!
