This tour takes you to a salt lake, the historic Falmouth, to the ben down market, to Martha Brea river rafting, and to William Knibb Memorial High school where Olympian Usain Bolt went.
A visit to Falmouth, Jamaica is like a walk through history with every house, corner, road, and stone filled with stories. In the late 18th century Falmouth boomed, becoming one of the busiest towns in Jamaica, with its economy based on the slave trade. As many as 30 tall ships could be seen on any given day in Falmouth Harbour; many of them delivering food, furniture, wares, and slaves; loading their holds with logwood, dyes, rum, and sugar manufactured by slave labor on nearby plantations.
